Fabulous Festival Food from Radius 7.

The Beer Festival this coming Friday and Saturday is now racing towards us and everything is falling into place for a great weekend.

The beer barrels and racking are being delivered to the Flavel Arts Centre shortly; arrangements are being checked and double checked, and items are slowly but surely being ticked off the many, many lists and copious notes needed to makes sure that this popular event runs as smoothly as possible.

GREAT FOOD FROM RADIUS 7 ON FRIDAY EVENING AND ALL DAY SATURDAY

One thing we won't have to worry about is the food -  delicious nosh will be provided on both Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday.

Those lovely people from local restaurant RADIUS 7 at Stoke Fleming not only run their restaurant but also provide outside catering, and they are now coming along on Friday too to make sure nobody goes hungry.

Please accept my apologies that in my previous blog post I stated that food was available on Saturday only.

Here's a sneaky peak at their Festival menu which includes two vegan options - and so will hopefully  'cater' for everyone's tastes... (see what I did there?)

Slow roasted beef cheek in ale (using ale from Festival) and treacle; horseradish mash and crispy onions - £7

Brixham mussels with Hunts cider, garlic and cream - £6

Smoked haddock and dill fish cakes, tartare sauce, tossed salad leaves - £5

Ham hock and belly pork scotch egg, piccalilli - £5

Slow roasted pork baps, apple sauce - £4

Vegan:
Roasted potato wedges, cheese, bacon and jalapeños - £3.50

Roasted beetroot, chick pea and tofu croquette, piccalilli, tossed salad - £4

All food is made at Radius7 using local suppliers

It's getting exciting, isn't it...?
We look forward to seeing you there!
